Custom Ranch Pack Trips
Swing your leg over your horse and head out through the coulees with a string of mules carrying your gear behind you. After a fresh, hearty dinner, fall asleep at our Prairie Camp with horses and mules grazing outside your tent. Wake up to the meadowlark calls and coyotes yipping at dawn. Sit on the porch of your tent with a cup of steaming coffee, smelling breakfast cook, as the sun quietly turns the Crazy Mountains pink. Horses and mules graze around you, filling their bellies with prairie grass for a full day of exploring. This is a great way to relax and connect with family and friends.
We offer pack trips to our Prairie Camp and other ranch locations that are 2 to 4 days in length. If you want a longer pack trip, we can traverse through a number of neighbors properties to explore some new country. Pricing varies by trip and number of people, so please submit the form below and let us know what your vision is.

For a truly custom experience, we can come to your private property with our horses and mule string. Combine a cabin stay with exploring the ranch
Stay in our cozy 500 sq ft cabin and use it as a basecamp for exploring the ranch by horse, foot, or mountain bike. Do some birdwatching or lazily float down our creek in a tube to cool off. Sign up with our partner organizations and go flyfishing or rafting on the Yellowstone River (10 minute drive). 3 night minimum during our busy season. For more information on the cabin, look here.
If you are traveling with horses, we can accommodate a small number of personal horses in corrals near the cabin.
