Saddle up for a guided painting session with watercolor artist, Melissa DiNino.
This daylong experience takes you on a horseback ride across the prairie to a nature-based art studio. We’ll take a few hours out of the saddle to enjoy lunch, take in the views of the Crazy Mountains, and create a painting inspired by our day together on the range. This day includes a guided watercolor lesson from watercolor artist, Melissa DiNino, and space to explore your own creative expression.
This is open to all backgrounds and levels of experience. All necessary watercolor painting materials are provided.

You must provide your own lunch, snacks, and water bottles for the day. We will provide each participant with their own saddlebag to carry these items. Specific information on what to bring and suggested gear for the day will be provided after reserving your spot.
Experience Highlights

We’ll pair you up with one of our horses for the day and ride out from the ranch headquarters. Moving across the landscape in this way will give you a chance to re-connect with your body and tune into your senses.

We’ll stop at a beautiful vista on the ranch to enjoy a saddlebag lunch and set up our painting studio. From the Crazy Mountains to the prairie, there’s no shortage of inspiration.

As the afternoon sets in, we’ll hop back in the saddle and ride back to the barn. End the day feeling refreshed and inspired.
Ride & Explore with Melissa DiNino
Melissa DiNino is a professional watercolor artist whose work is a meditation on life in the rural west.
Melissa’s paintings have been featured in Big Sky Journal, Western Home Journal, and Mountain Outlaw. She was also named one of Southwest Art Magazine’s 21 Under 31: young artists to watch in 2020, and her work is in private collections across the country.
Melissa is currently based on a ranch just north of Big Timber with her partner Anthony, two dogs, June and Ole, and her paint horse, Willa.

~4 hours of trail riding + 2.5 hrs of guided painting~
A deposit of half the total cost is due to reserve your spot.
Final payment of remaining balance is due three weeks before your trip (April 29th | May 26th | May 28th).
You are also welcome to submit the full payment at once. To do so, add both the deposit and final payment to your cart.
